AP Biology students recently made working models of cell communication pathways and then put their phones to educational use making stop motion animations of their models in action. It was a fun way to learn about complex processes.

Health and physical education aren’t just boxes to check—they’re a journey that starts in kindergarten and grows with students all the way through graduation. Whether it’s nutrition, mental wellness, decision-making, strength training, agility, or hands-on CPR training – we’re confident that every base is covered! In the early years, it’s all about having fun—running, jumping, playing games, and learning how to move with confidence. 🛝🏃🏻‍♀️ As students move into middle school and high school, their experience expands beyond just movement. They learn the importance of teamwork 🫱🏻‍🫲🏻, how to set personal fitness goals 🥇, and what it really means to lead a healthy life 🥕. By junior and senior year, students can choose from specialized courses, exploring everything from weightlifting and competitive team sports to activities like archery, frisbee golf, and table tennis. We want to help them find physical activities they actually enjoy—ones they can carry with them beyond high school. 🏋🏻 Prioritizing health isn’t just for class—it’s for life!

On Monday 2/24, Key Club hosted their 2nd Annual Half Time Heart Toss! Hearts could be purchased for $1 and then at half time all the hearts were thrown onto the court. Anyone’s whose heart landed on the Fox head won a prize, which were donated by the American Heart Association. Thank you to all who participated! Between the hearts and concessions, almost $250 was raised for the American Heart Association!
