As they prepare to graduate this year, Sadie and Caleb are already standing out—not just for where they’re going next, but for what sparked their passion: The Omro Fab Lab
Led by the guidance and innovation of Mr. Turner, the Fab Lab gave both students a place to explore, experiment, and discover new paths for their future. 🙌🏻
🔬 Sadie came in dreaming of becoming a Forensic Scientist. But after taking the Engineering course, she’s now headed toward a future in Civil Engineering with an Environmental focus. Her words say it all: “Omro Fab Lab is the ONLY reason I am going into engineering.”
🔧 Caleb has always loved building and creating. Thanks to the 3D printers and hands-on projects, he’s been able to bring his ideas to life—especially for his work as a mechanic. “People don’t know what they are looking for until they come into the Omro Fab Lab,” he says, reflecting on how the space opens minds to careers students may never have considered.
Two different paths. One powerful launchpad. That’s what makes the Omro Fab Lab so special.
Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing more stories of how Mr. Turner’s Fab Lab is shaping students’ futures, one project at a time.

Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, May 7, at 6:30 pm, for the Spring Band Concert. This event will showcase the hard work of our band students in grades 6-12. The event begins at 6:30 pm and will be in the OHS Performing Arts Center.

In recognition of Earth Day, Omro High School Biology students picked up litter on campus throughout our sport fields, woods, and arboretum. They focused on looking for items that can easily be overlooked, referencing the size of a dollar bill and looking for items smaller than it. The group found many plastic bottle caps, plastic zip ties, and candy and snack wrappers. Over the course of the afternoon, over 15 bags of plastic garbage were picked up. These proud Foxes are striving to keep our community clean!
