Staff members were nominated by students or other staff members for being a role model, an advocate for students, or having a positive connection with students.

As students entered the parking lot, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decision) members along with administrative staff polled the students. Students may have received a free drink from Kwik Trip or slip stating, "Next time you hop into the car, remember to buckle up! It's the law and yoru ticket to a safer ride."
Some safe driving/seatbelt facts:
~ In Wisconsin, both drivers and passengers can be fined for not wearing seat belts
~ 15,000 lives are saved every year by seat belts (NHTSA)
~ Ensure your seatbelt is fitted properly. The shoulder belt should be across your chest, not your neck, and the lap belt should be on your hips, not your stomach.

Conference Math Meet
Omro High School recently hosted and participated in the Cnference Math Meet. OHS had two teams compete, placing second and sixth out of eleven teams. In addition, Omro had several individual award winners, with Sawyer and Ethyn earning Second Team All Conference and Orion, Vincent, Addie, and Lexi earning Honorable Mention All Conference. Congratulations!
The math meet consists of students taking four individual 15-minute tests followed by a team test that takes 20 minutes. Team scores are built from all individual scores and the team test score. Individual scores are the sum of all of their individual scores and are compared amongst all of the students' scores.
It was great to have so many students willing to engage in mathematics on a Monday evening!

✮✮✮✮The School District of Omro once again achieved Exceeds Expectations! ✮✮✮✮
While we see each and every day how hard our students and staff work to ensure a safe and healthy environment that supports student learning, we want to take a moment to extend our gratitude to our family and community partners for their support as we all work, striving for continued improvement and achievement.
